Inspired by the Golden Age of Italian Comedy, Ricchi di Fantasia / Dreamfools is the story of unlucky ‘losers’ dreaming of a lucky life, even if it seems impossible.

Co-written with Fabio Bonifacci and with Sergio Castellitto and Sabrina Ferilli in the lead roles - it tells the story a ‘prankster’ who himself becomes victim to a prank and turns his life upside-down int he erroneous beliefthat he has won the Lottery. He quits his job and starts a hiliarous journey from the outskirts of Rome to Puglia following the dream of an improbable new beginning.

Simple people, forced to deal with everyday problems, Sergio and Sabrina bring to life a couple of rib-tickling characters in a tale that is well-anchored in the difficulties Italians have experienced in recent years.

“A film that tells how the love a family allows you to overcome every obstacle”
