Grazie Mille Tutti!
It is nearly the end of the year and Renee & I would like to say Grazie di cuore for your support of the Cinema Italiano Festival this year.
We hope that the films we have shown this year have in some small way touched your lives, inspired some to study Italian, to trace your Italian roots or embark on daring explorations of your own.
The Programme for 2017 will be released in the New Year and we will be sure to let all of our Members and Friends of the Festival know prior to releasing it publicly.
May I perhaps recommend a few words you can use over the Festive Season if you are learning Italian, that is.
Say buon appetito before a meal
Say Salute! at the table to toast to "good health"
Say piacere (it's a pleasure) when meeting someone new
Say a dopo(till later) or simply ciaoin more informal situations when saying goodbye.
Again, thank you to all of our Sponsors, supporters, filmmakers, distributors and the thousands of you that came and enjoyed our Italian film offerings.
Based on the best selling novel by Herman Koch.
